The Initial Game Pass Titles of 2026 Reveal Xbox Remains Committed.

Everywhere you go, fans keep sounding the death bells for Microsoft's gaming division. Xbox was recently outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Xbox fan sites began covering regarding Sony's platform for the first time. Last year proved to be complete chaos for Xbox and Microsoft. However, judging purely by what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it becomes clear that Microsoft still intends to draw people in with compelling titles on its premier subscription.

The Immediate Additions

The two games that are immediately available at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. Instead, the excitement lies in what's arriving to Game Pass over the next few weeks that's worth getting excited about.

Major Titles on the Horizon

Starting January 13th, the subscription service will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that refreshes typical Ubisoft design with a cosmic robbery tale. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, hailed in past assessments as "an ideal blend of frights and fights."

Intriguing Niche Additions

However, the more modest titles coming to Game Pass soon deserve recognition. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that's a blast to play, arrives January 7th — and it merits a playthrough even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.

This UK-developed survival title from last year could captivate you within just a quarter of an hour.

Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by the makers of Sniper Elite, also warrants your attention. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to look forward to.

A Robust Selection of Games

All in all, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, nor are they massive exclusive blockbusters that validate the subscription alone. Yet, this selection are exceptionally strong. There's a good mixture of past releases that passed you by and new-ish games that didn't get the attention they warranted upon launch — transforming them into ideal prospects to experience a revival on Game Pass.

Be prepared to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
