Air travel have resumed at Scotland's primary international airport after a significant air traffic control outage halted all operations.
Every arrival and departure were stopped because of an IT issue that arose around 08:30.
Several flyers reported being stuck in jets at the stand as the outage continued.
Flights Resume with Residual Impact
Officials announced at 10:40 that services were back online, and thanked passengers for their "understanding and cooperation".
However, significant disruption are likely to affect schedules. Services bound for London Gatwick, Bristol, Amsterdam and Frankfurt have been called off, with a host of additional flights subject to postponements.
Officials had previously estimated that dozens of flights could be affected.
"Flyers are asked to get in touch with their carrier for the most up-to-date details on their specific flights," was the consistent advice.
Cause of the Chaos
The problem was traced to the widespread suspension to an IT issue with its air traffic control provider.
Passengers continue to be advised to confirm the details of their flight before heading to the terminal as knock-on effects are worked through.
