In a bizarre crossover event that challenges conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of banned practices and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret sect.

The adventure concentrates on "strange trials and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an special katana alongside several objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
